Juan Antonio Jiménez was born in Castro del Río in the province of Córdoba. He grew up in a family with great love for horses and started riding at early age. His father has been the main help and support in his career.
At first, he devoted himself to “doma vaquera", where he won prizes between 1985 and 1988. During this time, he participated in several Spanish Championships.
After a long and arduous journey, he made his way with "Guizo", a horse with Lusitan origins of the Alter Real race, and owned by the stud "La Lira y la W". The following are some of the most relevant results he has obtained with "Guizo" and with other horses he has trained
personally.
